Family Support

An opportunity for the youth of the community to come together in a safe space and discuss common issues and challenges they may face as the youth from similar backgrounds.

Such challenges as poor parenting, school truancy, and other social and economic problems. 

What we do

Parents Forum

To create opportunities to discuss issues affecting families through: Workshops, one to one sessions or seminars. These activities play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and communication between parents, youth, and significant others.

One to one session

Where a parent or youth may prefer a one to one conversation.

Joint parent and youth educational workshops

To talk about educational topics like mental health and wellbeing, social skills, addiction, and to foster better communication, understanding, and collaboration.

Social/ family events

Away events like day trips to seaside, Amusement parks, picnics, and other recreational activities.

Youth Forums

To play a significant role in empowering the youth, giving them a voice in matters that affect their lives, and promoting the development of supportive social networks.

Advocacy work

We support and empower parents, especially those navigating complex systems and facing various challenges. We provide emotional support and mentorship to young people in various aspects of their lives.

Signposting for appropriate support services like

Early intervention services like mental health, Children’s activities, one to one Counselling support, Drug & Alcohol services, Citizen’s Advice Bureau and other support services available in the community.
